The property is approximately 1/4 mile wide and 1/2 mile tall and is a total of 70 acres. It is zoned agricultural which means we are allowed all kinds of buildings as well as water for household, irrigation and livestock use.

The dye studio is about 400 feet from the house, and the wood shop is about 620 feet from the house. They are positioned far from the house, and around the hill to provide a separation of home and work.

The easement and driveway total about 2-3/4 miles which all needs to be graded. Added to the distance along Lascar Road (County Rd. 650) there will be a total of about 7-1/2 miles of dirt road between our house and pavement.

The large wash just south of the sheep pasture is “Greasewood Arroyo”.

Yep, that’s both why we plan to make a wind farm, and why we haven’t done so yet. Thanks.
